On Air, not on Tour: Our Talks in a pandemic Summer

DPRG Zukunftsforum on July 22
Dr. Mark-Steffen Buchele and Sebastian Jansen pitchingZukunftsforum is the name of the Barcamp held by the German Public Relations Association DPRG. In 2019 Nadin Ernst and Jule Geyer did a first workshop on communication controlling there for buchele cc, live by the summery Alster River in Hamburg, with many good discussions and contacts afterwards.
The dynamic structure of a barcamp has been retained in the sixth, digital edition, which this time took place between 18th and 25th June in parallel one-hour online sessions. The topics focused on how communicators deal with the pandemic, there were practical sessions on using conference software and new channels, and some study presentations. The current topic focus was made possible by an uncomplicated pitching procedure.
This year's team, Dr. Mark-Steffen Buchele and Sebastian Jansen, also successfully pitched for a slot with "Goal, Compass and KPI - how to maintain directions and steer communication?" Our session demonstrated for the participants how to make their corporate communications strategically future-proof and how to steer their communications sensibly so as not to lose sight of set goals.
We were very pleased that we were able to reach a large number of listeners and receive good, constructive feedback even in the digital version of #ZuKuFo20. Nevertheless, we hope that next year we will be able to talk to the other participants over real, cool Alsterwasser after the event.
Super Communication Land on July 14
The Super Communication Land of DPA subsidiary news aktuell, which was actually supposed to take place at the end of March against the spectacular backdrop of the Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche in Berlin, has also had to be reset as digital conference. Many of the originally planned lecture topics have been retained, so that the online programme, which is spread over two weeks, continues to bring together a wide range of impulses relating to communication, digitalisation and artificial intelligence, even if the motto "beat the machine - from thinking robots and loving people" has not been retained.
On 14 July, Nadin Ernst and Dr. Mark-Steffen Buchele will give a short and concise demonstration of how to approach communications controlling and what kind of obstacles, challenges and opportunities you might encounter. We are looking forward to #SuCoLa, which is known for knowledge exchange, networking and further education, and hope that we will have time for many good conversations with the participants after our session.
